Glass Tiles Colors and Patterns Overview

Glass Tiles are a versatile building material.  They come in so many styles, colors, and shapes that they can fit any design need.  Because they are non-porous, they can be used anywhere water goes, from a backsplash to an entire shower wall, and can make a style statement at the same time.
They can also be used as accents in walls and floors or tabletops, adding a touch of class.  The variety of finishes can give you a modern look, a classic antique look, or even a comfortable cottage feel.  The shapes can be anywhere from square, to brick, to long lines, to circles, letting you add a classic touch, or a whimsical touch to any project.
Glass tiles come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes.  While glass comes in just about every color, there are quite a few colors that come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.  These colors are blue, black, green, and brown.  There are also several types of glass including frosted and iridescent.  The frosted glass is similar to acid etched glass where the glass has a dull, textured finish.
Iridescent glass has different colored glasses within the main tile that create a shimmering effect.  Glass also comes in a variety of shaped including brick and round.  In addition to these shapes, quite a few of the glass mosaics have varying shapes and sizes of glass in their interlocking patterns.  This variety allows the glass to be used in many different contexts.
